Hello, I am Diksha, from Ajmer. My family consists of my parents and brother. I am happy to contribute to my family earnings.
I joined the course because a friend of mine told me about the job opportunities that were provided at the end of the course. In today's world it is a dream come true for a girl if she can find a good employment and that too without the financial help from the parents. This is exactly what happened at PMKK Ajmer with me. The 3-month course gave exposure to all the aspects of dealership working like sales, customer care, workshop, finance etc. and this helped me gaining confidence about the line I had chosen. Now I am aware of not only retailing but also competition formats, basics of customer handling.
The govt. should create more visibility for these courses so that more and more girls join and become self-reliant and financially independent just like me. I thank the center and its faculty for the confidence and the path which was shown to me by them.

Hello, I am Umesh Makwana, I belong to a low income family settled in Ahmedabad.
I wanted to be an electrician and fortunately one day there was a camp in my area from where I came to know about the Electrician Course under PMKVY Project. Working as an electrician requires a certain skill level, so it's not something you can do without having undertaken the necessary training. IL&FS Institute of skills is the place from where I gained knowledge regarding the course I enrolled with. After completing my assessment I was offered job placement in an electrical panel manufacturing company but my main motto was to eradicate the current economic condition of my family and to earn a handsome amount. Therefore, I chose to be a self employed person as a freelancer for one or more clients at a time, one can often have more income than a full time salary. Now I have direct contacts with some builders and I myself take the contract of electrical wiring at homes and apartments. Currently my yearly income is Rs 3,50,000.
I am grateful to PMKVY and IL&FS Institute of Skills, Naroda who gave this opportunity to be what I am today.
