About Skill Council For Green Jobs

The Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) is the sector skill council with horizontal as well as vertical spread across a number of sectors. The creation of SCGJ was approved in the 10th Meeting of NSQC held on 28th September,2015. This Council is promoted by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and CII. SCGJ has been incorporated as a Society w.e.f. 1st October, 2015, Its mandate covers the entire gamut of “Green Businesses”, viz. Renewable Energy, Green Construction, Green Transport, Solid Waste Management, Water Management & e-Waste Management etc.
